A Route Technician contributes to the success of Carolina Swim by delivering legendary quality to our commercial facilities. This position creates the Carolina Swim experience for our commercial clients by providing immaculate and safe facilities for their enjoyment. The Route Technician engages daily on the frontlines representing the Carolina Swim brand.
*The Route Technician position is an entry level position. Carolina Swim only hires from within our organization for Commercial Services Team Leader and manager positions. This initial training period is vital to the success of each Team Member, ensuring a strong foundation of our core water quality principles, processes, procedures and techniques. Upon the successful completion of 3-6 months of initial coaching and training, Route Technicians should be able to demonstrate the necessary knowledge and skills to advance to a Route Leader role.

Key Responsibilities Summary:
Ability to quickly learn and apply a basic understanding of water chemistry testing, balancing, and adjustment procedures.
Provide preventative maintenance tasks to include pool and janitorial cleaning services and equipment maintenance.
Over communicate any issues, potential problems, actions, follow up needed, complaints, etc.
Maintain Carolina Swim operational safety guidelines;
Ability to work autonomously, independently and manage time productively to deliver consistent quality.
Be diligent in the care of client and Carolina Swim tools, equipment and property.
Ability to quickly learn fundamental operational mechanical processes, procedures, equipment, concepts and terminology.

Minimum 18 years of age;
Clean and valid driver’s license;
Ability to regularly lift and move a minimum of fifty (50) pounds;
Available to work early mornings, weekends and/or holidays;
Pay Range: $10-$15 per hour; overtime available
This position will work out of our satellite location.
