Job Summary
Who we are:
Danny’s Heating & Air has been a trusted name in coastal Carolina HVAC since 1991. With over 650 customers across Brunswick, New Hanover, and Horry County and active commercial contracts spanning from Wilmington to Myrtle Beach, we are one of the most established HVAC operations on the Carolina coast.
We are currently under new ownership and growing fast. We are investing in new technology, new equipment, and new people because we believe the best days of this business are ahead of it — not behind it. If you are looking for a place where your work ethic actually gets noticed and rewarded, you have found it.
What you will do:
• Diagnose and repair residential and commercial HVAC systems including AC units, heat pumps, air handlers, furnaces, and ductwork
• Perform routine maintenance, tune-ups, and annual service agreement visits
• Install new HVAC systems for residential replacements and commercial projects
• Communicate clearly and professionally with customers before, during, and after every job
• Complete job documentation accurately using our field service software
• Represent Danny’s Heating & Air with professionalism on every job site
• Work independently on service calls and collaboratively on larger installation projects
• Identify opportunities to improve customer comfort and present solutions honestly
We are licensed in both North Carolina and South Carolina, which means our technicians get exposure to a wide range of residential and commercial work across a thriving coastal market that is growing every single year.
The Role:
We are looking for a motivated HVAC Service Technician who is hungry to grow, works hard without being asked, and takes pride in doing the job right the first time. This is not a punch-in-punch-out role. We are building something here and we want people who want to be part of that.
You will work across residential service calls, residential installations, and commercial HVAC projects — giving you a variety of work that keeps the job interesting and your skills sharp. The coastal NC and SC market runs hot in summer and stays busy year-round. There is no shortage of work for a technician who shows up and performs.
What we are looking for:
• A genuine desire to grow — we will invest in you if you invest in the work
• Strong work ethic — you do not need to be told twice and you do not cut corners
• EPA Section 608 certification — required
• HVAC experience preferred but we will consider strong candidates who are early in their career and willing to learn
• Valid driver’s license with a clean record — you will be operating a company vehicle
• Ability to work in the coastal Carolina heat — this is physical outdoor work and you need to be comfortable with it
• Professional communication with customers — your attitude on the job site is as important as your technical skill
• Ability to pass a background check
HVAC certification or a license of your own is a significant plus and will be reflected in your compensation. If you are working toward your license we will support that process.
What we offer:
• Competitive pay — discussed at interview based on experience and certification level
• Company vehicle provided — you drive our truck, not your own
• Tools and equipment provided
• Work across both North Carolina and South Carolina — variety of residential and commercial jobs
• Direct access to ownership — this is not a large corporation where you are a number. Your performance is seen and rewarded.
• A growing company under new ownership that is actively investing in systems, technology, and people
• Licensing support — if you are working toward your HVAC contractor license we will help you get there
• Stable, established customer base built over 35 years — you will never be sitting around waiting for the phone to ring
• A market that is growing — coastal Brunswick and Horry County are among the fastest growing areas in North Carolina and South Carolina. The work is here and it is not going anywhere.
