In search of a drummer, vocalist/lyricist, keyboardist, or other instrumentalists in or around Wilmington for an original groove- and texture-focused music project starting with writing and recording and evolving into live playing. I'm also open to joining an already-established project.
I play guitar, bass, some keyboard, and some singing, with a focus on instrumentation, production, sound design, and strong rhythmic foundations. Ability to record and share projects remotely is important. I use Logic Pro, bonus if you do, too.
I'm especially interested in a drummer comfortable with electronics, loops, pads, or hybrid acoustic/electronic approaches. Feel, timing, dynamics, restraint, and precision matter more than the ability to hit hard.
For vocals, someone who uses their voice as part of the overall arrangement and texture of the music. Lyrical content matters too, of course.
Looking for collaborative partners, not hired guns, who already write/record on their own and are interested in committing to a focused creative project.
