I added a Dean Markley ProMag Plus single coil pickup and drilled a hole near the bottom strap button for the cord. It sounds really good.
I added strap locks as well and comes with a black leather strap.
It's been gigged with my band but overall is in very good to near excellent. There is one spot on the back that has a small nick (See circle on photo)
The top has some pick wear and I've tried to show it in the pictures. There's no belt rash on the back. It was well protected by a hard shell case.
It's a well made instrument made in Taiwan. At the time, Takamine was owned by Kaman Technologies, the same owner of Ovation guitars.
