This unit, designed by French engineers with a background in aeronautics, represents the culmination of the range. Approximately 50 units were produced, primarily distributed in Japan, and it is still maintained by the French company Vermeer Audio, based in Lyon.
It functions as a CD player (ESOTERIC VMK5 Neo VRDS mechanism), a digital preamp with military-grade tube outputs (featuring S.T.A.R.S 32-bit/384 kHz DSP modules by Anagram), and an analog preamp equipped with all possible connections: RCA and XLR analog inputs and outputs, RCA coaxial, BNC, Toslink optical, AES/EBU, and USB digital inputs! It also features Aktyna feet.
The main clock, designed for very low jitter, incorporates a high-quality natural quartz crystal. This results in a remarkable level of noise reduction.
It can be connected to a USB streamer to create an all-in-one device for digital music playback.
It can also be fitted with a phono preamp for use with a turntable.
Supplied with its original remote control, Audio Aero packaging box, and Aktyna feet.
