IMO this guitar has all the sound of a M D-18 without the $3000 price tag.
Awesome value on a "Made in the USA" Guitar with very low play time. In excellent cosmetic condition. No dings, dents, bruises...see pics! New D'Addario XT 12-53's and the Bridge pins have been upgraded to solid ebony pins, the factory composite pins included.
This 6-D has all the quality build features and famous Larrivee tone and projection you would expect. It is modeled after the Larrivee D-40 ($2249 new) sans binding with the same bracing, hardware, bone nut and saddle, satin finish and tone woods ... Solid Mahogany Back and Sides, Solid Sitka Top, Ebony Fret Board, Bridge and Head Plate. Optional Pick guard is included, see the last pic where I just laid it on the guitar.
Larrivee has a unique end strap button that once removed makes it very easy to add a 1/2" pickup jack.
Factory hard shell case is in great condition.
