Offering for sale this spectacular and extremely rare vintage Neoclassical-style ceramic table lamp made by the highly esteemed Chapman Manufacturing Co. with the following fine features:
- Hand-crafted with ceramic circa 1950s
- Classical vase-style globular ceramic lamp made to emulate the Greek and Roman pillars
- Hand-painted sage green and bronze over black, giving this lamp a marbled effect
- Two-tier square pedestal base beneath an acanthus enveloped globular body beneath an bronzed acanthus neck beneath a candlestick stem
- Brass stem, harp and artichoke finial
- Distressed green and beige wooden platform base measures 8" square x 6" tall
- Total height including the harp and finial is 38.5 inches, 25 inches of which is the lamp itself x 8" wide
- Weighs approximately 15 pounds
- In outstanding condition, with no significant or noteworthy imperfections
- Marked: "CHAPMAN MFG CO" on backside of vase base
