This position is responsible for supporting the sales efforts at a Sherwin-Williams paint store, servicing wholesale and retail customers. It will assist customers in person and over the phone by determining needs and presenting appropriate products and services, with special emphasis on decorative products such as wallcovering, faux fiishes and window treatments. This involves ensuring that sales transactions are completed accurately, maintaining accurate work order files and formulas, pulling appropriate products from the sales floor or warehouse, and tinting and mixing them to customer specifications. This position will maintain the decorative products department including in-store displays, POP signage, merchandising programs, wallcovering libraries, necessary paperwork and lending procedure follow-up. This position will also stock shelves and set up displays, clean store equipment, and load and unload trucks. It may also assist in making deliveries if necessary.

Candidates must be at least 18 years of age and have a VALID driver's license. A background check, driving record check and a credit check will be performed prior to hiring. Must be able to work some weekends and holidays. High school education or equivalent is required.
Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs frequently and up to 100 lbs on occasion. Will spend approximately 20% of the day sitting, 25% standing, 45% walking and 10% stooping, climbing and kneeling. Must have good color perception. Must be able to operate a hand truck and/or material handling equipment. Must be able to operate a computer and communicate via the telephone.
