I have a couple friends that live in the senior housing complex University Place on MacMillan Avenue in Wilmington. The management team are definitely aware of the apartments are crawling with cockroaches. They don’t hire a professional exterminator. They send the handyman with a can of bug spray and tell the residents they need to leave their home after he sprays. Keeping in mind these are our seniors and disabled people. I think it is disgusting to treat our seniors/disabled so poorly. I hope you let your senior/disabled friends or family know the conditions of the sub par living offered to our community.
