Transportation Safety & Recruiting Officer
Class A CDL license is preferred, but not required. Must be familiar with both Owner Operators and Company Drivers. Requires a better than average knowledge of Maintenance issues on Truck & Trailer (Vans, Flats, Reefers, Stepdeck & RGN) equipment. Must be able to conduct Driver Orientation and regular Safety Meetings.
Must have expertise in the following areas:
Driver Requirements & Qualifications
Drug & Alcohol Testing Requirements
Safety Audits
Maintenance Records
Road Test Certification
Record of Duty Status (Driver’s Log)
Accident Prevention
Must have working knowledge of:
IFTA Taxes
Form #2290
Permits
