This is such a sad situation and Bladen County Animal Control really needs the help of the community right now. Due to unforseen circumstances, they have had to stop transporting dogs up north to folks who wanted to adopt our shelter friends. Not sure when this will start up again or if it will for that matter but in the mean time, many dogs and cats are dieing at least twice a week at this gas shelter. They simply do not have the room for all the companions that are brought in weekly.

Currently they have MANY puppies and kittens that didn't ask to be brought into this world but due to irresponsible owners they may never see tomorrow! This is a desperate plea for anyone who can help save lives at this shelter. If your a rescue and think you may be able to help us, we would love to hear from YOU!! If you can sponsor a dog, adopt or foster with the intent to get the dog adopted on your own, PLEASE call us, we are begging for help, actually we are begging for our four legged friends!
